Introduction
In October 1917, Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin led the Bolshevik Revolution changed the political course of Russia. By 1917, distrust in the Russian Czar, Nicolas II, grew. Eventually, the Bolshevik Revolution led to the abdication of the Czar. This revolution paved the way for the Soviet Union to come into power.
